Is the job application tracker really free?
Yes. The job application tracker is included on the free account, with no per-application limit. Pro adds resume tailoring on top but is not required to use the tracker.
How is this better than a Google Sheet?
A spreadsheet does not know about ATS scores, CV versions, or status pipelines. CVTracker links each application to the exact CV you sent, surfaces your ATS score, and gives you a status pipeline view instead of a flat table.
What statuses are supported?
Applied, Screening, Interview, Offer, Rejected, plus custom notes per application. You can also store the job URL, salary range, and a deadline.
Do I need an account?
For the tracker and CV library, yes — a free 30-second signup. The ATS checker on its own does not need an account.
Will my application data be sold or shared?
No. CVTracker is self-hosted infrastructure. We do not sell or share your job-search data and do not use it to train AI models.
Can I export my pipeline?
Export is on the Phase 3 backlog and will land in a future release. In the meantime your data lives in a Postgres database you can self-host.
